![]() Price varies depending on where the suite is located on the property and how recently it was renovated. See MoreĮach of the 238 rooms at Secrets is a spacious suite. There's a definite party vibe in the air, as expected when unlimited booze and the Mexican sun come together, but there are enough swimming pools and beach space to escape for quiet if that's what you're looking for. Sometimes there are several weddings happening at one time on the beach. Groups of friends stay here too and many people come back every single year. Kids aren't allowed here (they are next door at Sunscape Sabor Cozumel, the sister property) and the bulk of guests are couples. Towards the end of the day, the place can look a bit disheveled with abandoned towels and discarded cups, but staff puts everything in order before morning. Paved walkways meander through the large grounds which include palm trees, trimmed hedges, and tropical flowers. Just off of the lobby is the smallest pool in the property, the Relax Pool, which overlooks the white sand beach. Water and coffee are set out for guests' convenience. Overhead, light fixtures look like upside down candles. The lobby is set with a nature-inspired water fountain and there are several beige couches for seating. Guests are greeted in the white semi-open-air lobby with a cold towel and glass of Champagne before a staff member orients them to the hotel (and maybe offers a time-share pitch). All in all disappointed to come back for ten year anniversary to see the changes.Secrets Aura Cozumel was originally built as a Wyndham property and it seems that no expenses were spared in renovations and upkeep. The website still shows late night snacks but see above comments. The resort including the beach was basically cut in half for the new Dreams. There is no pizza at this resort anymore there is limited seating with long wait times for dinners, they don't offer the nachos all day anymore. We still have one to do so, but sure, it will be great. ![]() The excursions we have done so far while being here ,Cristian, Eliazar and Fidel did a 5 star job helping with highly recommend these guys if you chose to stay. The wait time for dinners have been crazy long because only 2 dinner restaurants, and if Secrets or Dreams people come over, not enough seats or tables to accommodate. Dirty glass still sitting on stairs for 4 days we have been here. Someone spilt a drink on the steps of lower levels of our room stairs and still there 2 days later. Our room and our family's rooms have both had problems with multiple hours of time to get fixed or moved to different rooms. ![]() The coffee shop Cocos has been only great addition. Food very disappointing, there are no late night snacks after 11pm for Sunscape Sabor guest, only Dreams or Secrets. Well to start, ten years ago for honeymoon, excellent resort with food and rooms and service. We ended up buying a vacation club with occidental instead so we won’t be returning to sunscape and if possible I’d look elsewhere if you can’t afford the sister property dreams. Best thing was the beach and free equipment rentals. However if you ask for name brand they will give it. The drinks were cheap liquor and you could taste it. There are only two restaurants so for 7 days we ended up eating in town because the menu doesn’t change and never seemed to have the food we tried to order. ![]() Room was good besides that bed was broken. Next morning we spoke to manager who quickly corrected the problem and changed us to a ocean view as an upgrade. We got put into this room where the bathroom door was broken, sheets were used and dirty. Room type was incorrect and the front staff male with large mole on his face was very rude. We booked through my company rewards site and upon arrival we were treated terrible. FYI: the google photos are mainly of the sister resort dreams! Not accurate!!!
